The Art of Mind Control Part I: Tone of Voice

Have you ever wonder how to easily persuade someone. These tips are going to help you a lot. I’ve been doing some research and its turn out that people are more likely to be persuaded if you choose the right tone of voice. For the research say that the most important things are not the message itself, but the tone of voice and body language that matter.

In order to have the right tone of voice when you talk, you have to understand the point of your persuasion. For example, if you want to use this mind control technique to someone to buy something, then you might want him to feel excited with your product. Raising your voice to be more exciting is a good way to make the one you are persuading feels excited with your product. In the same way, if you want to talk about love and sharing you might want to make your tone of voice sounds more tender and soft. That way the one you are talking to can feel the love that you are sending to him.

However you need to understand the mood of that person at the moment you want to use this mind control technique. If the person is in a very bad mood the best way might not talk to him at that time.

The Subconscious Mind Does Not Think

The subconscious mind doesn’t think. It doesn’t know good from bad, doesn’t know right from wrong. It just does its jobs to fulfill your imagination and your emotion to reality no matter what it is.

You can’t have a better life regardless of your thought and emotion. Thought creates emotion and emotion creates result. Basically the subconscious mind always works on your emotion. Therefore you have to try to be as happy as you can. When you are unhappy you pulling bad things to you, because the subconscious thinks that you want it that way.

Do you ever have a bad day? That’s because when bad things happen you tend to be more upset and when you are more upset, more bad things keep getting to you. Remember that subconscious mind works 24-7 and never sleep. The more you can control your thought and emotion the more you success.

So you might ask me that I tried to be happy but I didn’t see the result. Well… the secret is persistence. If you keep yourself on the right path long enough, soon you will see the result. When you stay focus on what you want and be happy at all time, your subconscious mind start believing that you really want it. If you really want it then you’ll get it.

We are magnetic creatures that always magnet things to ourselves whether that things are what we want or not.

Reaching Your Goal

1. Decide what your goal is. Be as specific as possible on every detail of what you want.

2. Close your eyes and reach your alpha level. (please basic hypnosis article, if you are new)

3. Visualize your goal. Make it a clear picture of your goal. Put your feeling into the picture as much as you can. Try to visualize all the detail as possible. Feel it visualize that it’s real to you.

4. Say your goal out loud (may be in your mind) for example, “I want a new BMW by next year. This is what I want and I direct my higher mind to make this goal become reality.”

5. Repeat the process at least once a day until you get your goal.


Note: I suggest you write it down, so you can see it as a future reference.

To sell is not to sell (changing your focus)

Normally we tend to put focus on ourselves. Changing your focus to the person you are trying to persuade is a very important subject. Focusing on others mean you are more concern about them. Put your own desire away when getting to know people. I’ve seen many salespersons trying too hard to close the sale, and never care whether the customers really want it or not. They keep talking what advantages of the products are, but hey! who gives a shit!

Getting to know more about people will give you more ability to persuade them. Spend sometimes talking to them and try to focus on every detail. If you only try to close the sales then you are at the wrong direction. Never close the sale before you can put customers need related to the products. Have you ever heard that “they don’t care how much you know, but they want to know how much you care?”

Let me tell you this story. I went to close a sale with one of my team. I trained him about selling at that time because he was new. After the demonstration and told the lady about any advantages that the water treatment system might has. There was no sign of buying, not at all. I knew it at that time that we went to the wrong direction. I saw a picture of her children on the wall. So I started asking her about them. Then we had a very nice conversation. She walked me around her house showing more pictures of her family. What I did is collecting every detail that it might need to persuade her to buy the product. I let her know that I care about her family by asking every detail of her children. I wasn’t talk like a salesperson to her anymore, but I talked to her like an old friend who visiting her house. I spend more than half hour getting to knew more about her family. Then I got back to my water treatment system. So I put her love on her children related to my product. I told her how much the product important to her children’s health. I surprised that she asked me to demonstrate the product again, and I made that sale!

Remember that people need to know that they are important and want to know if you care about them. Don’t you only think about closing the sale, but also think about your customers. There are many times that I didn’t make the sales at first meeting, but made the sales later because I have good relationship with my customers. They know that I’m their friend. No rapport no sales! Don’t let the customers feel that you are here to sell the products, but let them fell that you are their good old friend visiting their place. So to sell is not to sell !

Basic Hypnosis Exercise

1.Relax in quiet place and close your eyes.
2.Breathe deeply and slowly.
3.Visualize that you are in an elevator.
4.Visualize that the elevator is at 20th floor and it’s slowly going down.
5.Every time the elevator changes the floor, mentally say “deeper mind level”. Continue until it reaches to 1st floor.
6.Open your eyes.

When you are there, mentally say “My subconscious is now open. I’m now at a strong mind level. I can reach this level whenever I want, with my eyes either close or open by desiring to be there and counting from three to one.”
Open your eyes.

This is just an example. In fact, you can change it to a different dialogue or visualization. Instead of visualize you are in an elevator, you can visualize that you are at the top of a staircase. The point of visualize you are at the elevator or staircase is to count down the number and lower your brain frequency. Instead of saying “deeper mind level”, you can say “happier”. The point of saying this is to make you feel as much relax as you can. Instead of saying”I’m now at a strong mind…..”, you can say whatever you want to program yourself, such as “I’m getting better and better everyday in every way”. The point of saying this is to program your subconscious. When you are truly relaxed, your subconscious can absorb any ideas that come across your mind.

In some cases saying things to program yourself is not strong enough to convince your subconscious to believe. The better way to do it is to visualize another picture of yourself doing things or achieving things that you aim for, but you do this after you have lower your brain frequency to alpha where your subconscious is open for your commands.
